Hot Flower

Hot Flower integrates green technology utilizing heat generated by solar thermal evacuated tubes and convection to activate thermodynamic paint shifting the color of a stylized bluebell flower from blue to violet. The changing nature of this artwork, and the exposed technological elements will be a teaching aid in the context of a permanent public sculpture, creating a visual record of changing temperatures.
